Called “A treat from beginning to end” by the Toronto Star, AtG’s classic adaptation of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro saw Lorenzo Da Ponte’s libretto modernized, translated into English and re-staged as one of Toronto’s millennial weddings in the historic Enoch Turner School House with the audience attending as wedding guests. The original 2014 production won a Dora Award winning production (outstanding new opera) and comes complete with ushers, a string quartet, and all the usual vows, tears, and hilarity.
